The Hogeschool Brabant, currently known as Avans University has several schools, the H.E.A.O. is primarily focused on Economic studies. The study I took was Business Economics and consisted of several courses like Economy, Cost Calculation, Finance, Controlling, Business Administration, Marketing, Information Management, Administrative Organization, English for business, Logistic Management, Project Management, Presentation and Communication Skills

In the Netherlands High School always starts at age 12, from that moment you will choose if you take a 4, 5 or 6 year study depending on your test score, qualifications and interests. V.W.O. is the highest possible study during high school and takes 6 years. The V.W.O. prepares you for either College or University Study.
